SDE have recently launched a Euro-Class Standard that companies and organisations can apply for. This standard, through the use of a score card, explores in detail how organisations have progressed on supplier diversity against a number of agreed indicators. The approach uses five broad indicators including: • strategic planning • programme development and implementation • programme delivery and implementation • monitoring, evaluation and implementation • outcome assessments. | Taking part in and achieving the Euro-Class standard can help companies and organisations to mainstream diversity issues into the procurement process and also meet tendering requirements.
The Euro-class Standard can also assist them in: • gaining a competitive edge • receiving better value for money • providing better services and reflect customers and communities they work with • improving their image and brand • gaining access to new ideas • consolidating the approach being taken across the company. | Our expert assessors evaluate the programme working to an oversight Board who have considerable knowledge and experience in supplier diversity. On successful completion of the assessment, companies can promote themselves as having achieved the standard.
The Euro-Class standard lasts for a three year period and there is an SDE standard logo that companies can use to highlight their achievements in this area. Contact SDE for further information |
